After using a camera you must plug it in and set it to charge!

Teacher permission is required to leave the classroom to video tape footage.

Use the tripod!

You are responsible for any footage recorded. Choose the subjects of your video wisely. Inappropriate use of these resources will result in a grade of zero on the project.

Humorously or seriously, show the movements of a Eagle Butte High School student as he or she moves from the front of Eagle Butte High school (the parking lot) to a classroom at the end of one of the halls. Be creative, think outside the box, and here is some criteria you MUST follow:

  • No shot can be on the final edited movie that is longer than 3 seconds in length.
  • Use as many camera angles as possible that are commonly and not so commonly used in film production. You may also demonstrate other camera techniques of which you are familiar.
  • The audio (sound) must match the video.
  • Slow motion must be incorporated in at least 2 shots.
  • Storyboard the project first! You must draw out at least 8 shots. Describe camera angles!!!!
  • You will need to shoot the same movement over and over again from several angles.

The “THIS” Riddle

I can be this, and you can be this.  And yes, we can be this.  He can’t be this, and she can’t be this.  And too, they can’t be this.  Dogs can’t be this but cats can.  And a kitten can’t be this but a puppy can.  Givers can’t be this but beggars can.  And humility can’t be this but greed can.  Not even peace can be this but fear can.

What is “THIS?”
