Home Page Construction Kit - Version 3
Note: HCK version 3 requires FirstClass Client v8 or higher.
The Home Page Construction Kit is designed to give you an easy way to build and maintain a robust Web Site without having to use any additional Web Site development software or, be an expert with html, the language of the Web.  In fact, you can build your web site without knowing anything at all about html.
The Home Page construction kit was also created to help you design a professional looking web site that you can be proud of.  The design is such that you have many options for colour schemes and design so that you can create a Web Site that will be unique to you.
Here are some examples of variations on a fictional web site for a teacher.

This is the default colour scheme showing a 4 link top navigation strip  along the top along with a navigation column on the left with 2 distinct sections.  A "Features" column on the right displays some current information.

Note the Counter on the bottom of the page as well. (Optional Installation for Windows Servers only.)

2152005_80709_1.jpgHere is the same page as above, but this time using a button bar rather than the top navigation strip.
The Home Page Construction Set has 22 different buttons to choose from.  If you do not find a button to meet your needs, you can design and use your own.

This variation uses a background colour, different colour scheme and placement of the banner image and text.
The Home Page Construction Kit offers you 13 pre-set colour schemes to choose from or you can construct your own from an unlimited number of different colours and 35 different background patterns.  If you can't find  a background pattern or colour scheme that you that you like, you can always override and use your own.

2152005_81226_4.jpgThis variation uses a different colour scheme and a different site style (Roll Over) Note also, a different placement of the header.

2152005_81456_6.jpgThis is basically same colour scheme as above, but the side navigation column and features columns have been reversed.
To conserve space, the banner graphic has been placed to the left of the header.
